Drag Story Hour (DSH) at Brookside Gardens with D’Manda Martini is a free program is co-sponsored by Drag Story Hour Montgomery County, Maryland, and Brookside Gardens.
Drag Story Hour is just what it sounds like! Drag performers reading stories to kids. DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models .In spaces like this, children are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish and where dress up is real.

This program is free but advanced registration is required for this event. All children must register and may be accompanied by up to 2 adults. Adults who are not accompanying a registered child will not be granted admission to the program. Drag Story Hour will meet at the Visitor Center in the auditorium
