Hi, I'm Sam Morris — "Coach Sam" — owner and head coach of Next Gen Pickleball Academy, (NGA) youth pickleball built for kids right here in Montgomery County. This summer we're running day camps in Gaithersburg, and I'd love to get your child on the court.
A little background: I have a Masters in Coaching and have 15+ years experience with players of every age across Montgomery County. NGA runs on one belief — kids learn fastest, and have the most fun, when they're engaged by people who know how to teach kids, not just how to play. Every day is positive, high-energy, and built on real fundamentals, so your child leaves more confident than they arrived.
Who it's for: Ages 8–16, grouped by age and skill — from first-timers who've never held a paddle to junior players ready to compete.
The camp — two weeks this summer:
• Week 1: June 29 – July 2 (Mon–Thu)
• Week 2: July 20 – July 23 (Mon–Thu)
A typical day mixes fun games, pickleball drills, snack breaks, real game play, and an end-of-day challenge. Setup so your child stays engaged.
Schedule & pricing:
• Full day 9:30am – 4:30pm — $295/week
• Half day (morning 9:30–12:30 or afternoon 1:30–4:30) — $170/week
• Macaroni Kid families: 15% off with code MACKID (full day just $250)
