Get ready for some family fun at the fair! The Montgomery County Agricultural Center in Gaithersburg is excited to host the MoCo Agricultural Fair from August 12 - 20. In addition to carnival rides and games, there will be live entertainment, animal events (with more than 5,000 animals!) live music, food vendors, craft exhibits and more.
General Admission tickets for those 12 and older are $12 online or $15 at the gate while children 11 and under are free! Carnival rides are a separate and additional cost, as well as several special grandstand events.
Free special events at the grandstand will include:
- Lawn mower racing on Saturday, Aug. 13
- Touch-a-Truck on Sunday, Aug. 14
- Truck Drag Racing on Monday, Aug. 15
Special events that will require additional admission charges will include:
- The Johnny Rocketts Cycle Circus on Aug. 12
- The Renegade Monster Truck Tour on Aug. 17 & 18
- The Demolition Derby “Night of Destruction” on Aug. 19 & 20
You can park on the fairgrounds site for $10 or park for free at nearby Lakeforest Mall with shuttle bus service to the fairgrounds (501 Perry Parkway Gaithersburg, MD 20877).
