Dr. Josephine Osire and her staff at Homa Family Medicine participate with most insurance plans, and provide complete medical care to people of all ages. In addition to weekday appointments, they also offer early morning and Saturday appointments, and will accommodate walk-ins.
Dr. Osire believes urgent care is an integral part of primary care; therefore walk-ins are welcome. Sick and urgent care visits will always be important at Homa Family Medicine. Their on-site lab will also offer a quick and convenient alternative to going elsewhere for blood work and other lab work. In addition, Dr. Osire believes in prevention and wellness and stresses healthy lifestyle change.
Other special interests include hypertension management, diabetes care, weight loss and healthy living, care for young adults, management of asthma including urgent asthma exacerbation care at the office. Homa Family Medicine can also manage simple surgical procedures on-site (including suturing, wound care, and skin lesions) in their dedicated procedure room.
Dr. Osire is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University, class of 2007. She is currently accepting new patients, and scheduling camp and school physicals for the upcoming year.
